Courtyard Design Competition

Lots of children and parents have been asking for more information about the Courtyard Design Competition that Verity Huxley has organised.  It's great that so many members of the school community are again intrested in brightening up a dull area - thank you for your interest!  You can download a pack of photos, Mrs Huxley's powerpoint presentation and the plan of the area in this zip file here:

Sickness Update

Thank you to everyone who is keeping children off whilst in the 48h recovery period.  Please continue to follow this advice.  By doing so you are preventing the further spread of this illness.

SUNDAY 18.11.12

Parents may be concerned about the outbreak of vomiting and diarrhea.

We would like to inform parents that the school has sanitized all flat surfaces, chairs, coat-hooks, door-handles etc. over the weekend. All classes have been issued with hand sanitizer and we ask parents to explain to children that anything such as chewing pencils is likely to spread disease.

We urge parents to follow NHS advice and not send children back to school until at least 48 hours after the last episode of vomiting or diarrhea. We will post any further information by text message, facebook and our school website on Monday morning.

We wish everyone who is suffering a speedy recovery.

Just to remind everyone that school is closed next Monday - November 12th, for staff training.
